Our ordering policy may seem harsh to some, but you must understand that what we do is less a business and more a labour of love. We hope to one day live off our print sales, but for now we are content to plough the remuneration derived from sales, back into film, paper and chemicals. You are supporting working artists!
Our images as a rule are window matted and dry-mounted on acid-free museum board. A generous matte border surrounds the print to present it optimally. Black and White images are produced on fibre based papers and processed to archival standards. Colour materials are processed to manufacturers specifications for optimal longevity. All prints are handmade and are signed and dated on the dry-mount below the image.
Your payment is due upon order of the print. When we receive your cheque, money order or bank draft we will ship your print, it is as simple as that. We will wait two weeks for all cheques to clear. Certified cheques, bank drafts and money orders will be processed upon receipt. Expect three to four weeks delivery.
Prints will be shipped UPS Ground, Insured. For this reason we request a street address and a contact name, no P.O. boxes. Inspect the prints upon receipt of shipment to ensure no damage occured during shipment. Email us to let us know that the parcel arrived safely.
If for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your print, please return it to us within 30 days. We will refund your full investment plus return shipping. There is obviously a difference between viewing an image on your monitor and viewing the original. Although the original prints are far superior to the digital representations, your perception of the on-line image may differ from that of the original. We do not want you to feel stuck with a print that you are dissatisfied with.
Contact us first by email or phone and notify us that the print is being returned. Ship the print back in the original packaging, UPS Ground, insured for the full amount you paid for it. If the Courier damages the packaging and print you will not receive your money until the carrier pays the insured amount.
When we receive the print, we will inspect it to determine that it is in the same condition that it was shipped to you. We will send you a cheque for the amount you originally paid plus the charges for return shipping. If the print is damaged or defaced due to your negligence, you own the print, and it will be returned accordingly.
